It starts with you.As a Lead UXD Manager, you will bring demonstrable knowledge, skills and experience in the field of User experience and design, exceptional technical skills allowing the creation of high-quality clickable prototypes, wireframes and digital designs and experience in UX research. You will be business savvy and have strong analytical and conceptual reasoning skills, be able to communicate well at all levels as well as have a good understanding of developing trends in technology experiences.Our Lead UXD Manager will contribute to our purpose to build a healthier nation through excellence in user experience and design of our digital front ends. They will also be accountable for leadership of a team of UXDs.As our Lead UXD Manager, you will:

• Collaborate with product owners to understand the user stories and then design great experiences that deliver the expected benefits in terms of customer and organisational value.
• Use various research methods and data to validate new and current digital experiences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally within your unit as well as maintain and forge key stakeholder relationships.
• Encourage and promote inclusive design for all digital experiences.
• Bring to life ideas and concepts by creating low to high fidelity designs.
• Promote UX at Nuffield Health and share knowledge across the business.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Excellent analytical skills to understand and compile research and data insights to shape your designs and share findings with teams and wider business.
• Passionate about improving customer interactions at Nuffield.
• Able to influence and challenge others, whilst always displaying the right behaviours.
• Strong prototyping and visual design skills which you can articulate clearly to internal stakeholders and development teams.
• Great collaboration and communication skills to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Understanding of Information Architecture and Hierarchy for website and app.
• Solid understanding of Human Centered Design and Human Computer Interaction.
• Strong understanding of website and app design with proven experience delivering business and customer satisfaction with your work.
• Able to use and build components and libraries within our Design tool (Figma).
• Proven experience of leading on multiple projects.
• Be a kind guru to share your knowledge and expertise with others, and help improve our culture and ways of workings
