Full-Time Lead Veterinarian – Now Hiring + Great Compensation + Sign-On Bonus – Spring Hill, FLA respected veterinary clinic in Spring Hill, Florida, is looking to add a Lead Veterinarian to their team. This role involves being the medical leader of the practice, fostering a collaborative work environment, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality veterinary care. The Lead Veterinarian will also play an integral role in the success of the practice’s operations.The practice is open to experienced veterinarians who have a strong leadership background, as well as those with less experience but a desire to take on leadership responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure high-quality care and efficient hospital operations.
  • Support the Practice Manager with staffing, scheduling, and ensuring the clinic’s goals are achieved.
  • Cultivate strong relationships within the practice and with the local community.
  • Encourage the professional development of support staff through the internal LevelUp training program.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, including surgeries and appointments.
  • Oversee medical care for all patients and serve as the veterinarian of record for permits and licenses.
  • Partner with hospital leadership to maintain and elevate medical standards.

Qualifications:

  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
  • Active veterinary license in good standing, or the ability to obtain licensure in Florida.
  • Leadership experience is preferred, but not required.
