- Provide comprehensive medical care to animals, including diagnosing, treating, and performing surgery.
- Lead and supervise the veterinary team, including technicians, assistants, and support staff.
- Manage the daily operations of the hospital, from scheduling and inventory management to maintaining medical records and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with clients, addressing their concerns, answering questions, and providing compassionate care.
- Stay current with the latest veterinary practices, treatments, and technology to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Serve as the veterinarian of record for all required hospital permits and licenses.
- Collaborate with hospital leadership to set and uphold medical standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to veterinary staff, fostering professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
- DVM/VMD degree from an accredited veterinary college.
- At least 5 years of clinical veterinary experience, with a strong foundation in leadership and team management.
- Excellent communication skills, both with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for providing exceptional care to animals and supporting the veterinary team.
