Full-Time Lead Veterinarian – Urgently Hiring + Flexible Compensation Package – Greer, SCAn established veterinary practice in Greer, SC , is seeking a Lead Veterinarian to lead their medical team and foster a collaborative, positive work environment. The Lead Veterinarian will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality medical care while supporting the practice’s operational goals.This role is perfect for experienced veterinarians with leadership expertise or those looking to develop their leadership skills with support from the existing leadership team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a medical leader, promoting a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration within the practice.
  • Work closely with the Regional Medical Director to maintain medical standards and deliver high-quality care.
  • Partner with the Practice Manager on staffing, scheduling, and ensuring operational goals are met.
  • Manage and prioritize diverse cases, surgeries, and appointments during clinic hours.
  • Supervise the medical care of all patients, ensuring compliance with relevant hospital permits and licenses.
  • Promote exceptional client experiences, fostering long-term relationships.
  • Oversee the development of support staff through the practice’s internal LevelUp clinical training program.
  • Serve as a mentor for associate veterinarians and support staff.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

  • DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program).
  • Active license in good standing to practice in Texas (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Previous leadership experience is preferred, but the practice is open to candidates who aspire to grow into leadership roles.
