As a Learning Support Assistant with The Education Network, you’ll play a crucial role in helping SEMH pupils thrive both academically and personally. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing tailored support to individual students, helping them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils to foster a supportive learning environment.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of personalized learning plans.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other educational professionals to ensure a consistent approach to each pupil’s learning and wellbeing.
  • Offering emotional support and guidance to help students navigate their challenges.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH needs.
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient personality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
