The New York County District Attorney’s Office (DANY) has an immediate opening for a Legal Hiring Coordinator in its Legal Hiring Unit. In this position the coordinator is primarily responsible for managing the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring process for both internal transfer and external candidates in addition to providing administrative support to the Attorneys-in-Charge of the internship programs and the Unit. The Legal Hiring Unit as a whole is responsible for coordinating the essential functions of the hiring process for full-time legal staff, summer law fellows, semester law student interns and summer and semester college student interns as well as developing and supervising semester and summer internship programs.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or
