The Opportunity:

Avantor is looking for a dedicated Logistics Administrator. Based at MESM in #Chorley UK, the logistics administrator role will work in a fast-paced environment. In this position, you’ll be responsible for the administration of the end of study program:

MESM (Medical Equipment Supplies & Management) specialises in the sourcing, supply, service, and end of study support of medical and laboratory equipment for the clinical trial industry. We currently supply specialist medical equipment to all regions of the world and both our customer list and geographical reach is expanding daily.

MESM is part of the VWRCATALYST brand and the Clinical and Biorepository Services Alliance of Avantor.

The role will be a full-time, hybrid position, therefore you will need to be based within a reasonable distance from our #Chorley, UK office.

The team

Avantor’s Logistics Administrator is part of a team of 12 colleagues.

What we’re looking for

• Experience: Past experience in admin/communication related role
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel,
• Excellent team player
• Excellent Communication skills
• Proactive mentality with strong work ethic
• Reliable and confident working with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and high-quality focus
• Ability to work under pressure and strong problem-solving skills.

How you will thrive and create an impact

• Support all collection requests and set up new collections cases with the required information.
• Liaise with clinical sites on a global basis to assist with return of the correct documentation.
• Complete mandatory export documentation requests.

• Updating the system with all required updates on a daily basis.
• Assisting the administration of our revenue steams to ensure all invoicing is processed in accordance with MESM TAT and balanced against costs.
• Produce accurate and timely reports to support customer and business needs.
• Providing support as required to the EOS Co-ordinators.
