The overarching purpose and goal of the person holding this position is to support the acquisition of business for Dematic through the deployment of extensive Logistics experience with both new and existing customers, external consultants and internal departments, in particular sales, marketing, BD, solutions and CS.

The role reports to the sales team to allow flexibility in this deployment across the business where it adds the most value based on current needs.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Accountabilities:

• Direct customer logistics consultancy
• Direct support of sales team members both with customers and customer meetings and to develop their general knowledge in the logistics field
• Internal logistics and logistics solutions consultancy
• Leverage of their industry network and knowledge
• Review, investigation and assessment of all inbound BD leads
• Support the BD & marketing departments and their activities in all forms including shows, workshops and customer days
• Conduct all lead management in SalesForce before handover to sales
• Conduct regular competitor and market intelligence activities, report and train both sales and solutions on new developments, products and references on an ad-hoc and regular basis
• Work with the Dematic MDDs to broaden the dissemination of information and knowledge across the wider Dematic community
• Support CS with existing customer requests & challenges
• Provide consultancy to Dematic project execution where project challenges exist
• Critique and challenge proposed (Sales & MU) solutions, programs and costs both internally and externally for critical project opportunities when requested and or required
• Demonstrate to customers through personal interactions the high competence of Dematic concerning its solutions and delivery capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• An extensive experience in warehousing, the logistics industry broadly and logistics automation projects and their real-world delivery/execution and operation.
• Ability to take the initiative (display initiative by being self-confident, taking ownership and acting proactive).
• Have the ability and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Operate in an inclusive and open style, leading and/or supporting the team as required.
