We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and driven individual to join our Nestlé Waters business as a Logistics Specialist Operator, reporting to Warehouse Shift Manager.

A day in the life of a Logistics Specialist Operator

Reporting to the Shift Manager, your main responsibility will be to work as a member of the team and safely operate warehouse Material Handling Equipment and related systems, achieve performance targets of AGV, Systore and LPE operations, assembling and loading customer orders, deliver packaging materials to production lines and carry out other tasks to ensure safe, reliable and efficient logistics operation.

As a Logistics Specialist Operator you will be expected to demonstrate supervisory skills and responsibilities in your everyday role.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Proactively promoting positive behaviours around individual safety and safety of others

• Ensuring production lines are supported by the warehouse through timely, constant, and consistent use AGVs.

• Performing pallet retrieval from storage racking for loading into marshalling location correctly using the warehouse management system.

• Gain an in-depth knowledge of the system coordinator role.

• Covering for the shift manager when he/she is out of the office.

• Performance managing / coaching behaviours.

• Problem solving any issues that arise.

• Support and cover the planning executive in their role.

They will demonstrate initiative with drive for continuous improvement and passion for safe and efficient warehouse operation. They will demonstrate leadership and managerial qualities as well as act in an entrepreneurial way to adjust to the business needs.

In addition you will:

• Demonstrate the ability to use warehouse RF scanner (Radio Frequency scanner) and follow warehouse management systems such as systore and globe.

• Show willingness to learn new skills including admin executive duties.

• Previous supervisory positions or qualifications is an advantage but not essential.
