This full-time role offers a temp-to-hire path at a company known for its innovation and reliability in concrete manufacturing. With a strong presence in the industry for over four decades, they supply products integral to construction projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Machinist Job Duties:
- Set up, operate, & troubleshoot boring machines
- Select and install cutting tools, mount fixtures, and workpieces
- Calculate and set machine controls to position the spindle about the workpiece
- Use a hoist crane to load the machine
- Lifting up to 50lbs frequently
- Select and set cutting tools as well as cutting depths, speeds, and feeds to produce parts per drawing requirements
Schedule:
Day Shift:
- Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $22.00 – $23.00 per hour
Machine Operator Requirements:
- 1+ years of machine experience
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. regularly
- Ability to be on your feet for 8+ hours a day
- Ability to work outside in the elements at times
- Available to do OT occasionally
