Job Details:

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and
repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work
environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

This position is responsible for performing repairs and preventative
maintenance on equipment and handle any work orders to include
electrical, welding, fabricating, trouble shooting and general repairs
of lines, conveyors and machines. This position also includes making
rounds and documenting system conditions (i.e. temperatures, pressure,
inspections, etc.) and maintaining acceptable tolerance ranges. Read,
interpret and understand drawings, sketches, prints, etc. that are
related to the maintenance and repair of processing equipment. The
Dardanelle Complex Safety Goal is Zero Accidents.

  • Must be able to work in outside temperatures ranging from cold to
    hot and be exposed to exterior environment occasionally which may
    include rain, snow, wind, etc. Can be dusty, damp, humid, wet, with
    a high concentration of allergens.
  • Must have the ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours a day along with
    the ability to grasp, grip, twist, pull, bend and stoop
    occasionally.
  • Must be able to lift in excess of 40 lbs., climb stairs and ladders.
  • Must be able to comprehend oral and written instruction
  • Must have a minimum of a year maintenance experience
  • Must provide own hand tools

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: At least 1 year of industrial
    maintenance experience OR 1 year of industrial maintenance
    experience education (e.g., possess industrial maintenance diploma
    or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience
    .
  • Leveling determined during the interview process based on skillset,
    knowledge, and experience.
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging
    information, processing daily work orders, and completing required
    documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized
    Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills
    required.
