Job Description:We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager to lead the team at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Worsley Park.The Role:As Maintenance Manager, you will manage all maintenance operations, including maintaining the building, grounds and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection. You will be accountable for managing the departmental consumables and utilities budget as well as capital expenditure projects. You will ensure that preventative maintenance plans are in place to maintain the product and support energy conservation. You will be responsible for maintaining regulatory requirements and lead the emergency response team for all facility issues.You will be responsible for, but not limited to:Ensure building and equipment licenses and certifications are currentMaintain property life safety systems, fire fighting equipment, sprinkler systems and alarm systemsInspect guest rooms to ensure they are ready for guests arrival prior to be handed back to front officeDeliver memorable guest experiences which support in driving Intent to recommend scoresMonitor and analyze guest satisfaction survey results to ensure these continually improveWork alongside front office and housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for arrivalEnsure the team action and rectify any maintenance issues which are reportedEnsure hotel and team are using Transcendent Maintenance systemEnsue all guest complaints are resolved in a timely manor and logged correctlyAnticipate guest needs to deliver an above and beyond experienceEmpowers employees to provide excellent customer service experiencesPrepare departmental rota’s, ordering and payroll inline with budgetManage the physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systemsManages and controls heat, light and power and recommends current best methods for energy conservation and economical facility operationsDevelop specifications and requirements for service contracts and administers such contracts to support building needsDistributes preventive maintenance and repair work orders and monitors timeliness and quality of completionDevelops a long term plan for preventative maintenance and asset protection and overseeing execution of plan.Contacts contractors for bids and supervising construction to ensure timely completion of projects within budgetary guidelinesRecommends or arranges for additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations, and the replacement of furnishings and equipmentSelects and orders or purchasing new equipment, supplies, and furnishings.Assist other departments, wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships within the whole hotelRecruit, train and develop maintenance team members and support in developing our next maintenance managerComply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislationOur Ideal Candidate:You will have a proven track record in a similar role within a hotel environment along with experience in coaching and developing team members,You will have a warm people orientated demeanour, a gift for paying attention to the smallest details and a positive outlook and outgoing personality.Perks you deserve:We’ll support you in and out of the workplace by offering:Free Access to the Leisure facilities, because your wellbeing is importantFree meals at workFree uniform & dry-cleaning serviceFree enrolment of Perks at Work – Access to unlimited deals from retailers to restaurants to cinema’s and more23 days holiday increasing with serviceAnnual Performance Review payCycle to work schemePension & Life AssuranceEmployee Assistant ProgramComprehensive Training and Development programCompany Pension scheme, we match your contributions up to 6%Private Medical CoverThis role offers an annual salary as well as an annual bonus plan allowing you to earn up to 20% of your salary.Marriott International is an equal opportunity employer.
