Title: Maintenance Technician – Metal Forming Manufacturer
Location: Dayton, OH 45404
Hourly: $30 – $35 / Hour + OvertimeWorking Hours: DAY SHIFT: 6:30am – 5pmFounded in 1970 we are 110 employee metal forming manufacturer that supplies stamping & welded sub-assemblies to a variety of industries across the US. Over the past year we have placed a huge emphasis on revamping our engineering & quality departments to ensure that we continue to make top tier products as we serve the automotive & housing markets. We are in the position to hire for both Day & Night shift Maintenance Technicians who can help troubleshoot & program electronic controls for mechanical & hydraulic equipment within our temperature controlled facility.What You Will Be Doing

• Install, program & repair assets on all properties
• Troubleshoot & program electronic controls for mechanical & hydraulic equipment
• Isolate defects in wiring & motors using test instruments
• Computer operation & PLC programming on production equipment
• Start machines & observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency / detect problems
• Read work orders to determine machines & equipment that require repairs
• Use knowledge in mechanical, welding & electrical to work alongside engineers
• Inspect equipment, structures & materials to identify the cause of defects
• Complete preventive & corrective maintenance requirements

What You Need for this Position

• 3+ years of maintenance technician experience ideally in manufacturing (automotive ideal)
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical & hydraulic equipment
• PLC & Servo drive experience is ideal
• Knowledge of design techniques & tools for production of precision equipment
• Experience repairing machines & systems along w/ blueprint & drawing reading exposure
