Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Bank Account Reconciliation: Keeping our financial records up-to-date and accurate.
  • Sales and Purchase Ledger Reconciliation: Ensuring our ledgers are balanced and discrepancies are swiftly resolved.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Regularly reviewing and reconciling our balance sheets.
  • Credit Control Oversight: Taking charge of the entire credit control process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Payroll Process Management: Owning the monthly payroll process for our UK and US-based employees.
  • Ad Hoc Data Analysis: Utilizing Excel and Google Sheets to perform complex data analysis, including vlookups, sumifs, and index functions.
  • Corporation Tax Filing: Handling R&D tax credit filings (CT600 and CT600L) with precision.
  • Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Providing clients with insightful financial models and forecasts to guide their business decisions.
  • Implementation of Accounting Standards: Assisting in the adoption of new accounting standards across the business.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Collaborating with different teams on various ad hoc projects.
  • General Administrative Duties: Supporting the Finance team with other administrative tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking ForTo excel in this role, you’ll need:

  • Part-Qualified Accountant: Ideally, you are ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or ATT part-qualified with 2-3 years of bookkeeping or management accounting experience.
  • Excel/Google Sheets Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets are essential.
  • Xero Experience: Familiarity with Xero is highly advantageous.
  • Work Management Tools: Experience with tools like
