By combining education and action, Ocean Co. strives to ensure a healthy and sustainable ocean for the benefit of all.Together, Ocean Bottle and Ocean Co., are united in a joint mission to combat ocean plastic and promote environmental and social justice.ABOUT THE ROLEWe’re looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team, reporting to our Head of Finance and working closely with our part-time Assistant Management Accountant.Success looks like:Timely and accurate reporting of month-end information and variance analysisAdoption of our new SaaS ERP (NetSuite) and AP Automation Tool (Tipalti) following both systems going live in July 2024KEY RESPONSIBILITIESYour core areas of focus across the organisation will be:Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, with a core focus on our P&LSupport annual budgeting and continuous forecasting processesConduct variance analysis and identify areas for both revenue maximisation and cost optimisationAssist in financial reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and provide support as neededAssist our External Accountants and the HoF in the preparation of year-end financial statements, and our first external auditContribute to process improvements and assist with the adoption of NetSuite (our new ERP) and Tipalti (our new AP Automation Tool)WHAT YOU’LL GETRemunerationWe’re looking to pay a starting salary of £47,000 – £55,000 for this role, depending on experience.
