If so, you might be the person we are looking for!Our opportunity is based at the production site in Chartres, which is undergoing a massive investment of 2.1 billion euros as part of a global program involving other sites worldwide.About The DepartmentYou will have a unique opportunity to support a major CAPEX investment project and to manage a team consisting of buyers and contract managers. You will join the expansion project department.The positionAs a Project Procurement Lead, your responsibilities will be divided into 4 pillars:

  • Establishing and Managing Procurement Processes:

Define, plan, and execute the expansion project department’s overall procurement strategy;Establish and oversee efficient engineering sourcing and procurement, including the management of preferred vendors;Collaborate closely with the expansion project department’s sourcing functions to ensure effective procurement processes and support are in place;Direct and lead procurement activities in an organised environment, fostering collaboration between partners and systems;Ensure compliance with procurement execution standards, including the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and Novo Nordisk procurement standards.

  • Procurement and Sourcing Strategy:

Develop and implement the overall procurement strategy for the expansion project department;Establish and oversee engineering sourcing and procurement, including managing preferred vendors;Work collaboratively with the expansion project department’s sourcing functions to ensure effective procurement processes and support are in place;Direct and lead procurement activities efficiently within an organised environment;Ensure compliance with procurement execution standards, including the Project Execution Plan (PEP) and Novo Nordisk procurement standards.

  • Contract Management and Strategy:

Define and implement the expansion project department’s overall procurement and contract management strategy;Drive the process of supplier performance evaluation;Collaborate with the expansion project department’s Engineering Director and central procurement functions to embed contract strategy in global and local contracts;Provide guidance and support to projects on contract-related matters.

  • Daily Department Management:

Ensure a high-performing team that aligns with the overall mission and strategies;Manage hiring, coaching, performance evaluations, and development (including individual performance and individual development plan) of direct reports within the team;People management, including hiring, coaching, and performance evaluations within the department;Develop the team according to the overall mission and strategies of the expansion project department and Novo Nordisk.Qualifications :

  • You have a Bac+5 diploma (Master, MBA or Engineer).
  • You have at least 5 (ideally 10) years of experience in procurement in the context of CAPEX projects.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in management (direct or transversal). You have a capability to develop and lead high-performing teams, motivating skilled professionals.
  • You have a fluent level of English and French.
  • You are an effective and experienced communicator. You are sociable with a positive approach, creating strong stakeholder relations.
  • You have a strong, endurant, and flexible mindset.
