Job Location:  Riverwoods, Illinois

Job Type:        Full Time 

Duties: Motivates and mentors the team of data scientists/modeler to grow their skills and careers, focused on creating a nurturing environment which encourages innovation and continual learning. Leverages extensive, deep technical knowledge and leadership skills to drive the development of data science solutions and implements data-driven recommendations and outcomes. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Engineering, Economics, Analytics, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Modeling-related occupation.

Position Required Skills: Position requires experience in the following: Programming languages including SAS, SQL and Python; Database management using Teradata and Snowflake; Risk management using AML models, including tuning methodologies such as Above-the-Line tuning and Below-the-Line tuning; Modeling tools including classification models and Python machine learning packages such as sklearn, XGBoost, or LightGBM; Project Management tools such as Jira or Github.

Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program 

Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $138,715.00 to $188,500.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
