Description We are offering a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity for a Manager of Revenue Recognition based in Itasca, Illinois. This role is within the industry of Revenue Cycle Management and requires a highly organized individual to lead and manage various financial and accounting processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the global revenue cycle process, managing the revenue recognition process in compliance with US GAAP software revenue recognition standards, and supervising accounts receivable and cash collection processes.

Responsibilities • Oversee the global revenue cycle process, including customer evaluation, setup, invoicing, and general ledger coding. • Manage the revenue recognition process to ensure compliance with US GAAP software revenue recognition standards. • Supervise the accounts receivable and cash collection process, implementing strategies to ensure timely payments. • Ensure that all systems, policies, and procedures related to revenue recognition comply with company policies and procedures. • Strengthen and implement internal controls and communication strategies to prevent fraud and reduce errors. • Handle customer relationships, including communication, negotiation, and issue resolution. • Oversee the customer invoicing process to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper coding. • Assist in the hiring process and provide leadership, guidance, and support to an AR/Invoicing analyst. • Investigate new customer invoicing technologies and systems, leading implementation efforts to improve efficiency and effectiveness. • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate future acquisitions into revenue recognition, customer invoicing, and cash collection processes. • Participate in the year-end audit process, ensuring adherence to relevant financial controls, SOX controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies. • Manage monthly close activities, perform account reconciliations, and work with the finance team to ensure a smooth month-end closing process. • Produce regular reports and analyses on accounts receivable and collections metrics and provide data to the FP& A team for assessing net and gross annual recurring revenue. • Engage in general accounting activities, including research, journal entries, and reconciliations as required. • Collaborate with team members and vendors to resolve any issues with missing invoice details. • Assist in developing and reviewing internal systems budgets, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives. Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficient in using NetSuite software

• Comprehensive knowledge of Revenue Recognition

• Familiarity with General Ledger operations

• Demonstrated ability in Continuous Process Improvement

• Thorough understanding of GAAP Accounting

• Experience in managing Cash Balance

• Competence in Cash Applications

• Ability to create accurate Cash Flow Forecasts

• Strong understanding of Internal Control procedures

• Experience in managing High-Volume Invoicing

• Proficiency in conducting Year-end Audits
