Job Requisition ID #25WD86754Position OverviewDo you want to manage an engaging, helpful, and attractive Commerce platform that is frequented by millions of visitors worldwide part of Autodesk Growth Experience Technology Organization? we are looking for a talented engineering manager who is passionate about leading a team of full-stack engineers to build and deliver innovative solutions for prospects, customers, and partners into our Commerce platform. You will be empowered to catalyze our growth to from $5b to $10b+ through improved funnel conversion, hypothesis-driven experimentation, productivity, automation, insights, and experiences to increase the revenue.You will be managing a team of full stack engineers to add exciting new features for Autodesk’s eCommerce platform that influence Autodesk’s customer product buying experience. Our team faces a variety of unique and interesting challenges to help customers buy the software and get the support they need. The team you’ll be leading is responsible for creating new tools and components, implementing critical services, creating new and engaging end-user experiences, and digging into low-level performance details and streamlining processes to help make Autodesk eCommerce be the easiest place to buy.As an ideal candidate, you’ll have led teams developing modern cloud services in a fast-paced, agile environment. You’ll know how to build and guide highly effective and high-performing teams and inspire them to remain at the cutting edge of the fastest-growing technology stack on Earth. You’ll excel at being a mentor and coach to engineers at all points of their career journey.ResponsibilitiesLead, manage, and mentor a large team of full-stack engineersProvide insight, feedback, and recommendations to senior management regarding the development, capabilities, and potential of current and future software projectsIdentify efficiency opportunities through automation, engineering, and processWork closely with architects, technical leads, product owners, and others to drive towards a common visionProvide insightful leadership to achieve a high software engineering standard, including efficiency, quality, security, resiliency, and other best practicesAid in the design and building of solutions, frameworks, automation, and orchestration for a broad range of applicationsBe responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projectsHire, manage, and develop a professional staff of engineersCollaborate with a geographically dispersed team and stakeholdersBe a passionate and empathetic advocate for students of architecture, design, engineering, animation, and other future professionals worldwide so we can deliver the greatest possible experience for our future customersMinimum QualificationsBA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience (MS in Computer Science or a related degree is preferred)8+ years of relevant industry experience, with 5+ years of hands-on technical leadership and 3+ years of people management experienceDeep domain expertise in e-commerce, funnel conversion, experimentation, real-time analytics, scaling customer-facing web apps, and deploying advanced engineering strategies in corporate settingsProven track record in landing quantifiable business impact in partnership with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, architecture, Data Science, Product Management & Experience Design, and in building influential relationships and driving data-centric decision-making across our teamsExperience with technical concepts, modern engineering practices, and influencing technical leaders/senior engineers, including the ability to dive deep to unblock teams and increase agilityDeep knowledge of cloud computing stacks at the SaaS, PaaS and IaaS layersAdvanced knowledge of public cloud service platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS)Strong hands-on experience with key technologies and tools, such as Java, Node.js, Go, React, and CI/CD technologiesExperience with scrum and agile development processes and methodologiesProactive, quick decision maker with excellent communication and written skillsProven ability to manage and resolve complex and ambiguous issuesPreferred QualificationsModern Web experienceFamiliarity and experience with Adobe AEM or other CMS related technologiesProduction React experienceExperience with Java, Node.js, npm, NoSQLFamiliarity with responsive web designThe Ideal CandidateYou understand what it takes to build and support highly scalable and reliable ecommerce and web platformsYou have the ability to build and inspire highly effective, engaged, balanced, and happy teamsYou can spot and attract amazing talentYou have a passion for being a mentor and a teacherYou are a leader with visionYou understand student experiences and are passionate about making their experience with Autodesk greatYou can take risks and can make quick decisions and maneuver vague requirementsLearn MoreAbout Autodesk
