In particular, that includes creating an equitable, inclusive and growth-focused environment for our people.About this roleReporting to the Senior Manager, Retail Brand Experience (RBE), the Manager, Visual Merchandising and Styling (VMS) leads lululemon’s product presentation team in EMEA. This role is responsible for the visual merchandising strategy, leading a team to realise visual excellence. They work in close collaboration with the Global VMS team to bring global strategies to life, whilst supporting regional storytelling, revenue and sell-through targets.A day in the life of

  • Support stores to manage and deliver a premium store image, seasonal strategies, new retail concepts and campaign activations.
  • Manage in-season trading needs of stores.
  • Review global VMS strategies and tailor these for regional implementation, working closely with the local Product team to ensure strategies support the regional buy.
  • Work with Store Design and Planning teams to deliver optimal store layouts across the fleet.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Operations team to ensure that all VM and Retail concept strategies are communicated in a timely manner to stores.
  • Responsible for VM excellence at all new store openings, relocations, renovations and pop-ups, working closely with Store Design and Product teams to ensure optimum layouts and product presentation.
  • Regularly spend time in stores to learn, teach and inspire, ensuring VM training is consistently completed successfully.
  • Manage the VM Squad programme, ensuring VM support is available to all regions, while building the VM talent pipeline for future team growth.
  • Responsible for the management of signage hardware, mannequins and VM props across all stores.
  • Aware of visual merchandising and styling trends within the retail space, regularly attending tradeshows, and visiting key retail spaces.
  • Support In-Store Marketing team to bring campaigns to life in retail, providing stores with product presentation and mannequin styling guidance, as well as supporting with installs and end of campaign recaps.

Qualifications

  • Lead, manage and develop a high-performing team.
  • Annual budget management – planning and accountability.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience as a visual space creator and team manager, ideally for a premium, purpose-led, global business with a challenger brand mentality.
  • Demonstrable experience creating impact in retail spaces on guest experience and sales using innovative ideas without compromising brand equity.
  • People and team leadership.
  • Degree level education preferred.
