The Managing Director for Canada is the top leadership position within the region, responsible for driving sustainable growth and profitability with full ownership across sales, marketing, innovation, and local operations. This role carries full Profit & Loss (P&L) accountability for the Canadian market, requiring a strategic leader who can deliver results, inspire teams, and navigate the complexities of the competitive CPG landscape.   • Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Canadian market in alignment with global business goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities, assess market dynamics, and adjust strategies as needed to stay competitive.
  • Lead long-term business planning and scenario analysis to ensure sustainability and scalability.
  • Own the P&L for the Canadian business, ensuring revenue, profit, and margin targets are consistently achieved.
  • Prepare, manage and report financial budgets, forecasts and performance analyses.
  • Implement cost optimization strategies without compromising quality or service delivery
  • Oversee sales and marketing and innovation strategies to strengthen market share and brand presence.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers/customers, distributors, local copackers and strategic partners.
  • Act as the face of the organization for major customer negotiations and industry events.
  • Drive operational efficiency across supply chain, manufacturing, sales and customer service functions.
  • Ensure all activities comply with Canadian regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
  • Implement best practices and innovations to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse, high-performing team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and innovation.
  • Develop talent pipelines and succession plans to ensure organizational growth and resilience.

What We Are Looking For: • ​​​​Sales function (major responsibilities, accountabilities and organization of sales business unit)​ • ​​​​Selling (ability to use tools, techniques & tactics to sell products), preferably in food/beverages​ • ​​​​Sales/Marketing tasks & activities​ • ​​​​Knowledge of customers, ability to utilize customer profiles and information​ • ​​​​Knowledge of sales channels in which Ocean Spray is and is not a player​ • ​​​​Knowledge of product line both in store and in development​ • ​​​​Leadership experience within Sales/Marketing functions​ • ​​​​Experience with P&L and/or business planning function​ • ​​Excellent communication skills, strategic mindset, ability to prioritize successfully • ​​Can excel in a startup-type entrepreneurial environmentEducation: Bachelor’s or University Degree (Required)Work Experience: At least 10 Years of ExperienceBenefits:As a part of our global Ocean Spray family, we provide all the benefits you need to stay physically and financially healthy now and in the future.
