Manual CNC Machine Operator | Sheet Metal

This position is with an international manufacturing company. This facility specializes in creating machines and tools for the food and manufacturing industries and they have an opening available on their CNC Machine Operator team. The owner is still heavily involved in the operation and it continues to stay a family like culture. You’d have a Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:30PM schedule, a supportive work culture, and work in a climate controlled environment!

CNC Machine Operator Job Duties:

• Set up/Operate Manual CNC Machining Center
• Operate/set up machines and perform progressive matching operations on work involving very close tolerance
• Read program codes and understand the order of operations needed to obtain quality parts
• Detect and report faulty machine operation, defective material, equipment, drawing discrepancies and other unusual conditions to their supervisor

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am-5:30pm
CNC Machine Operator Requirements:

• 2 years experience on CNC Machine in a sheet metal environment.
• Intermediate skills and knowledge using tools for manufacturing such as drill press and mill machine.
• Experience in evaluating quality through inspection, controls, and instrument
• Good analytical abilities, good communication skills, team oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted

Pay: $22 – $28 per hour depending on experience.
