Manufacturing Engineering Technician

in Kent is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to
their growing team!

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate
    with Product Engineers: Work directly with product engineers to assist in the
    design and development of new products, providing input on manufacturability
    and process optimization.
  • Partner
    with Product Engineers to initiate,
    scrutinize, and execute Engineering Change Notices and Engineering Change Orders
    when required to improve manufacturing or meet customer requirements.
  • Perform
    hands-on tasks on the manufacturing floor, including equipment setup,
    maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure efficient production.
  • Create detailed drawings and models
    for the purpose of part or product reproduction by teams internal or external
    to the organization.
  • Identify
    and implement improvements in manufacturing processes to enhance productivity,
    quality, and safety.

Schedule: Monday
– Friday, 7 am to 4 pm.

Manufacturing Engineering Technician Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Engineering or other technical
    degree or equivalent experience.
  • Over a year of
    experience working in a manufacturing environment as a product development technician,
    manufacturing technician, maintenance technician, or similar role.
  • Strong technical
    documentation and reading blueprints or schematics experience.
  • Strong
    knowledge of SolidWorks.
  • Experience with fiber optic assembly and test
    methods preferred.

Compensation: $70,000 to $80,000 annually.
