Market Access plays a crucial role at Servier Canada, driving effective reimbursement strategies to optimize the access to our innovations for the benefit of Canadian patients. Reporting to the head of market access and pricing, this position involves working closely with external stakeholders as well as cross-functional teams internally to design and implement initiatives that enhance the value proposition of our portfolio for a successful Health Technology Assessment recommendation and expedited listing of our products on both private and public plans across Canada. The role will require leadership skills to prioritize and navigate the complex payer landscape.Status of position: PermanentStart date: January 1st, 2025Location of position: Laval; Hybrid office / work from home / fieldWeekly hours and schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday to FridayWhat you will be doing:

  • Establish and foster relationships with key provincial and private payer stakeholders, Government and Health Policy leaders, influencers and decision-makers.
  • Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies and approaches that strengthen the value proposition of our portfolio through innovative reimbursement solutions and impactful Health Economic initiatives.
  • Actively participate in, provide strategic input, and execute on the various market access projects, as well provide support in the creation and adaptation of HTA dossiers and economic evaluations.
  • Develop added-value initiatives that demonstrate the clinical and pharmacoeconomic benefits of Servier Canada’s portfolio of innovative products to external stakeholders across Canada both on the public and private payer side.
  • Serve as a liaison with key stakeholders, including CDA, INESSS, provincial and territorial drug plans, private insurers, the Pan-Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance (pCPA), academic advisors, and other healthcare provider.
  • Work with the global team, as needed, to ensure alignment of strategies.
  • Scan on an ongoing basis the reimbursement environmental analyze, interpret and report the trends in market access, pricing, government affairs and public policy.

Your background will ideally include

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy with experience in practice
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role, i.e., as manager, market access within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong understanding and intelligence of the Canadian public and private payer environment, Canadian Drug Agency (CDA), INESSS and provincial decision-making processes
  • Capacity to foster relationships, both within and outside of the organization
  • Expertise in maneuvering withing the market access systems in Canada
  • English and French, written and spoken
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical, strategic skills with recognized business acumen
  • Adaptable and flexible; able to deal with ambiguity
  • A team player with a track record for developing and maintaining positive and constructive relationships with individuals across the organization
  • Ease of dealing with change and being solution-oriented
  • Available to travel (estimated at 20%, may be reviewed as needed)
