They are responsible for a budget of approximately $140M of recurring subscription spend each year and allocate these cost across 2000 employees. The team serve investment colleagues and build strong relationships with internal clients.What we are we looking for:We are looking for a bright, curious and self-motivated Analyst to join our well-established team. The MDS team are strongly client and commercially focused, so this individual must have excellent inter-personal skills with an ability to resolve conflict and negotiate solutions.The successful individual will need to:Maintain process documentation for workflows relating to the invoice and MDS pricing update processesProcess vendor invoices verified against contractual obligations to verify accurate billing and allocations within the Market Data Services inventory system (i.e.: FITS: Optimize Spend)Deal with vendors on billing queries to resolve invoice variances and update MDS inventory systemProvide a full range of MDS administrative support whilst maintaining all aspects of the market data inventory system to manage over $140m MDS spend globallyAssist with the flow of new contracts through internal Legal teams and ensure use policies and procedures are followed globallyWhat you can bring:Experience of working within the Investment Services industryGood knowledge and confidence with using ExcelExperience of vendor invoicing and MDS business principlesExperience of managing an MDS inventory system from one of the key providers – ideally Optimize Spend knowledgeOrganized and self-motivated – able to use own initiative and function either in isolation or working as part of a teamA structured and disciplined approach to carrying out tasks with particular attention to detail is essentialCapable of working under time constraints and to deadlinesFull Time / Part TimeFull timeWorker TypeFixed Term Employee (Fixed Term)Job Exempt (Yes / No)NoWorkplace ModelAt Invesco, our workplace model supports our culture and meets the needs of our clients while providing flexibility our employees value.
