hiring-jobs.com

Do you have an interest in marketing, social media and communications? Want to get some amazing work experience and develop essential skills for your CV? All whilst living in a welcoming Christian Community in the breathtaking scenery of the Scottish Cairngorm mountains?

If the answer is ‘Yes!’ then our Marketing and Communications Community Internship is just for you!

Over 12 months you will take part in mixture of marketing and communications training and tasks alongside service, and discipleship.

You will work alongside our newly appointed Communications Manager to assist in delivering Abernethy’s exciting new marketing and communications strategy. You will learn about a wide range of marketing disciplines and deliver projects related to branding, social media, PR, print, online marketing materials and fundraising. Our Communications Manager has over 20 years of experience working in marketing and communications across a range of organisations and in the corporate, education and voluntary sectors.

Alongside other Abernethy team members, you will also spend some time serving with the hospitality and house teams, meeting guests and taking part in discipleship activities.

Every Wednesday night you will join in with the Abernethy Team Fellowship program. This is an evening where the whole team meets together to enjoy external speakers (challenging and encouraging us with scripture), worship and other activities. You will also have the opportunity to plan and deliver a couple of sessions throughout your time with us.

Each Sunday morning will be spent joining the local community by going to the village church.

The internship is a voluntary position. This means that you do not get paid, but you will get your food and accommodation (including bills) free of charge.
