THE TEAMThe mission of the Social Department is to drive brand awareness and build brand affinity and community across social platforms.THE OPPORTUNITYAritzia is growing and our Social team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for positioning and elevating Aritzia’s social presence as a destination for Everyday Luxury through brand-propelling content and compelling activations. You will play a pivotal role in establishing and continually assessing the holistic platform and creative strategies that drive forward both Aritzia and the concept of Everyday Luxury. With people at the heart of everything we do, you will support your high-potential people to grow rewarding careers at Aritzia — while enjoying one yourself.THE ROLEAs the Director, Social, you will lead the team to:

• Define the strategic approach for social.
• Develop content programs and a holistic social aesthetic, in partnership with the Creative teams.
• Determine the best content to publish and leverage different media and approaches for world-class social content development.
• Ensure developed content aligns with strategy and goes live at the right time and in the right way.
• Connect, engage, and respond to our social audiences.
• Maximize our performance on social to meet and exceed marketing, brand, and business objectives.
• Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day-to-day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience.

THE QUALIFICATIONSThe Director, Social, has:

• Proven and best-in-class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience in creative strategy development, social media management and digital marketing at a leading fashion, beauty, or equivalent luxury brand.
• A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia’s Values and Business and People Leadership principles.
• The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes.
• The ability to set clear objectives and design a strategy that inspires the team.
• A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value.
• A deep understanding and commitment for the industry in which we operate.
• A key representation of Aritzia’s brand, aesthetic and style fundamentals while setting trends and influencing culture.

THE COMPENSATIONThe typical hiring range for this position is $140,000 – $210,000. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience. Additionally, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.We are always looking for top talent.
