It’s a chance to extend and improve Tesco Media’s Marketing Team. It’s an opportunity to work with a market-leading business to explore new opportunities and enable Tesco Media and its clients to grow.You will lead the Tesco Media brand to brilliance by crafting meaningful and compelling marketing campaigns. You’ll build the visibility and presence of the Tesco Media brand in the industry by developing insight-led thought leadership and content marketing campaigns. You’ll translate the marketing strategy into a measurable marketing plan that supports the goals and objectives of the business and the sales team.What you’ll be working on

  • Manage, coach and develop a new team enabling them to achieve success
  • Manage the annual marketing budget
  • Develop a content marketing strategy that supports and feeds into all other marketing activities across the annual plan
  • Work with our strategy and insights team to develop big thought leadership pieces that help us change perceptions in the industry and position Tesco Media as the number one platform for brands in the UK
  • Work on a brand positioning project to ensure that Tesco Media is correctly positioned in marketing amongst all it’s target audiences.
  • Work on marketing strategy and translate this into a measurable marketing plan for the year
  • Support on the development of new marketing systems including a CRM system (Salesforce) and new Newsletter system
  • Support on the development of a new website
  • Work closely with internal Press and build relationships with external industry Press to ensure that Tesco Media is gaining positive exposure in the industry
  • Oversea the production of compelling marketing collaterals (showreels, brochures, decks, one pagers) write compelling briefs and work with both in house and external teams to create compelling stories and activations
  • Secure, nurture and develop internal and external resources as needed (event companies, designers, creatives)

What we expect from you

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
  • Seasoned experience in marketing, preferably B2B
  • Media industry experience highly desirable
  • Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, sales, and product teams
  • Brand strategy and content marketing experience
  • Fluent English, excellent copy writing skills – a brilliant storyteller
  • A team player with the ability to identify industry trends and innovate
