Whether you are just starting your career, re-entering the workforce, or looking for a new job, this is where you belong.What you’ll do:Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Meat and Seafood departments within the storeEnsure the departments meet or exceed sales and profitability goalsTrain and develop department colleagues in customer service, product knowledge, and merchandisingEnsure merchandise is stocked, displayed, and priced appropriatelyMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely replenishmentMaintain clean and safe departments for customers and colleaguesManage departmental expensesCommunicate regularly with store management and other department managers to ensure store-wide goals are being metBe constantly on the lookout for great talent to join our teamLead, coach and motivate colleagues to improve productivity, engagement and retentionBe committed to maintaining merchandising and operational standardsBuilding and leading diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belongingWhat you bring:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious retail management experience, preferably in a departmental or specialty store setting is considered beneficialStrong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop colleaguesExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekendsProficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of retail operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and customer service is considered beneficialAbility to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.Our commitment to Sustainability and Social Impact is an essential part of the way we do business, and we focus our attention on areas where we can have the greatest impact.
