Also, the role is responsible for a broad range of maintenance activities that are performed to keep UPS package handling facilities operating efficiently and effectively.Job Type: Full-Time / PermanentWorkdays: Monday to Friday (must be able to work ALL 5 days of the week)Shift Hours: 6:30 PM to 3:00 AM (must be able to work a minimum of 40 hrs. per week)Shift Duration: 8 hours a day (requires flexibility with Start and Finish time)Work Location: 100 SIMMONDS DRIVE DARTMOUTH, NS B3B 1N9Hourly Wage: according to apprenticeship level: $18.34 to $29.43 per hour.Key Responsibilities and DutiesRepair, inspect and maintain UPS Diesel, Propane, CNG and Gasoline vehicles in a regular and timely manner.Operate/test company vehicles within the UPS facilities and on public roads.RequirementsClean Driver’s Abstract confirming:a) No violations/accidents for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than 2 violations for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months).b) No traffic violations/accidents within the last 12 months and maximum 5 demerit points for the previous 3-year period (last 36 months).Must successfully complete a Pre-Employment Road Test.Ability to lift-up to 70 lbs. (32kg) unassisted.
