This is an excellent Mechanical Design Engineer role, working for a company with a growing reputation in their field.The Mechanical Design Engineer will use their engineering knowledge & experience of product development. You will ideally have experience working within multidisciplinary teams within a manufacturing environments and have an interest in working with both precision engineering as well as heavy manufacturing, and 2D & 3D CAD systems.The Company
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will join a global organisation within the scientific manufacturing industry who are dominating their field. They are experts in the design and manufacture of a range of innovative products, used in the application of a range of manufacturing and research activities! They are the gold standard in their field worldwide and have 15 facilities across the world in 10 countries!The Mechanical Design Engineer will contribute to a supportive team environment, which rewards hard work and innovative thinking. This is a full-time position based-in Ely and although we would love you to go to the office full-time, we’re open to flexibility up to 2 days remote working following a successful probationary period.Benefits

What’s Required?The Ideal candidate for the role will have some of the following:

• A relevant degree within an engineering discipline such as Mechanical engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
• A good understanding of product development with experience of both precision component design
• Experience with 2D and 3D CAD systems – Solidworks would be ideal!
