You will be leading large complex multi-disciplinary projects and helping to develop our dedicated team. • Design and management of large, complex, long-term projects while coordinating with other disciplines and external partners within time and budget constraints.
• Lead and develop a team of mechanical engineers across Canada with a focus on sustainable design.
• Attend meetings and communicate with clients to establish their needs and discuss design issues.
• Put together fees and proposals as well as developing strong client relationships.
• Predict and plan current and future resources, including strategic membership growth, while developing and mentoring the team.
• Represents Arup in the industry at high levels nationally and internationally, e.g. think tanks, standard committees and international conferences.
• Create an environment of inclusivity that inspires the growth and career development of junior and senior team members.

Is this role right for you?

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering required.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience designing building HVAC systems, including airside and hydronic system components, and experience leading project teams on medium to large scale projects.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based work.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary projects as a project manager
• Ability to prioritize effectively, balance assigned work, and exceptional organization skills required for our constantly evolving environment.
• Professional Engineering license is required or ability to obtain within 6 months of joining the firm.

This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary.
