Join ITV.Your impact sends ripples.The roleThis role is responsible for translating the annual direction for media strategy to individual campaigns, creating parameters for success across all paid and owned media activity.

• Support the development of long term media strategy.
• Lead campaign briefings in collaboration with marketing & creative strategy. You will be required to create and adapt strategic principles and guardrails, which ladder up to the overall media strategy. These will be used to guide and empower media representatives embedded within the pods.
• Work with the Insights team to develop a deep understanding of ITV’s existing viewers and customers, and the audience growth opportunities, with a particular focus on their media behaviours.
• Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, challenges and opportunities, and how they impact our campaigns.
• Monitor priority media activity to ensure alignment with the briefed strategy, acting as a consultant to media specialists
• Work with the Insights, Marketing and Media teams to understand the impact and effectiveness of our activity and help to embed learnings into future plans.

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

• Media professional with a proven success record working with multiple stakeholders in complex businesses.
• Strong knowledge across paid and owned media channels, with proven hands-on experience in both.
• Highly experienced in developing strategy for paid and owned media.
• Highly experienced in understanding insight and data to inform strategy and decision making.
