Job Title: Medical AssistantJob DescriptionWe are currently partnering with an urgent care in West Michigan looking to add Medical Assistants to their team. This role involves managing core responsibilities alongside a small team of medical professionals.Responsibilities

• Bring patients back to their room and obtain vitals, medical history, reasons for visit, and prepare patient for their exam.
• Ensure all ordered tests are performed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Draw blood and prepare labs for reference lab processing and/or in-house processing.
• Perform all drug screening procedures in accordance with established rules and regulations.
• Ensure patient immunizations are well documented.
• Prepare exam rooms; sterilize instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation.

Essential Skills

• CMA or RMA certifications.
• Experience working as a medical assistant.
• Experience in an urgent care setting highly preferred.
• Skills in medical assisting, patient care, triage, phlebotomy, and taking vitals.
• Proficiency in electronic health records.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to measure blood pressure.
• Patient education and medical record management.

• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Work EnvironmentUrgent Care Clinic setting. These are first shift roles with a schedule of 36 hours per week, typically structured as three 12-hour shifts.
