Description:Interviews patient and documents patient’s response in the medical record according to standard. Observes, records, and reports patient’s response to medications and treatments to provider(s). Cleans and maintains patient care areas including the examination room and equipment to ensure a sanitary, safe, and organized facility. Arranges for patient referral testing at other facilities or specialty care. Diploma is required, as well as the completion of a Medical Assistant training program. Six months physician’s office/clinic or healthcare setting is preferred.
