Job Title: Medical AssistantJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our multi-specialty practice, which includes General Surgery, Podiatry, ObGyn, and Gastroenterology. This role is essential to ensure the smooth operation of our clinic and provide the highest level of care to our patients.Responsibilities

• Taking patient vitals
• Scheduling appointments
• Collecting and dipping urines
• Rooming patients
• Utilizing the EMR system
• Assisting with medication prior authorizations if needed

Essential Skills

• Medical Assistant Certificate (must be certified by the time of hire)
• 6 months of Medical Assistant experience
• Ability to room patients and take vitals independently
• Experience with EMR systems

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant
• Prior Orthopedic experience
• High School Diploma

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a clinic with 4 physicians. The working hours are as follows: Monday 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM, Tuesday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Wednesday 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM, Thursday 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM (with the option to come before 12:30 PM), and Friday 7:45 AM – 3:30 PM. The environment is professional, and you will be working with a team dedicated to patient care and growth opportunities.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 – $17.50/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
