Medical AssistantJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced oncology center in Sarasota. The ideal candidate will be responsible for rooming patients, taking vitals, performing phlebotomy, preparing blood samples for lab testing, scheduling patients, and recording patient information. This role is perfect for someone with an interest in healthcare and customer service. We are open to candidates who are looking to break into the field and only have a diploma!Responsibilities
- Room patients and take vitals.
- Perform phlebotomy and prepare blood samples for lab testing.
- Schedule patients and manage appointments.
- Record patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure a high level of professionalism and initiative in all tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
Essential Skills
- Medical Assistant certification or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in phlebotomy.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to take manual blood pressure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in healthcare.
- Strong initiative and professionalism.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
