Hiring Bilingual Medical Assistant Instructor In OrlandoJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in medical assisting and be committed to providing high-quality education and support to our students. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including patient updates, data entry, answering phone calls, ordering labs, relaying lab results, scheduling follow-ups, and performing triage. This position requires medical experience and a high school diploma. Experience with EMR systems, particularly Athena, is also necessary.Responsibilities
- Conduct follow-ups with patients.
- Update patient information and data entry.
- Answer inbound phone calls and provide appropriate assistance.
- Order and manage lab tests.
- Relay lab results to patients and healthcare providers.
- Schedule follow-up appointments.
- Perform triage and provide clinical support.
- Assist with patient care and appointment scheduling.
Essential Skills
- Medical Assisting experience (1+ years).
- High School Diploma.
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically Athena.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience in ordering labs and taking calls.
- Ability to perform triage and provide clinical support.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Medical Assisting diploma or certification preferred but not required.
- Customer service skills.
- Experience with front desk operations.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Knowledge of insurance processes.
Work EnvironmentThis position is based onsite at a clinic. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65000.00 – $65000.00/yr.Health Benefits Breakdown
