Our physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and support staff recognize the importance of prompt, expert, and compassionate care for patients whose needs span from general health maintenance to treatment for complex medical problems.Our TeamBrigham and Women’s Health Care Center in Hingham located at 6 Shipyard Drive offers expert care in a safe and comfortable environment by our highly experienced clinicians and technicians. We deliver a full range of preventive and health maintenance care. We not only treat a range of acute and chronic health problems, but we also coordinate our patients’ care when they need treatment by specialists.Are you ready to bring your talent to this team and join us in moving community-based ambulatory care forward?The OpportunityWe are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support the practice onsite Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm.As true partners to our providers, our Medical Assistants get the opportunity to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of the care team. The ideal candidate profile is an experienced, adaptable Medical Assistant who is confident in their clinical abilities.Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring efficient patient flow through the office
- Assisting during office visits (rooming/vitals, examinations, procedures, immunizations, and treatments as directed)
- Performing clinically appropriate tasks related patient panel management (administrative support, phone calls, test results, prior authorizations, coordination of care, etc.)
- Maintaining neat, clean, stocked, and safe exam rooms and patient care areas
- Interacting with patients and their families in a professional and courteous manner consistent with their needs.

QualificationsQualificationsWhen hiring, we look for candidates who possess not only relevant qualifications, skills, and competencies, but also positive attitudes, empathy, and genuine passion for the work.
- Required:
- High School diploma/GED
- Either BLS or Annual Manikin training including CPR and AED after 6 months of hire
- Strongly Preferred:
- Medical Assistant Course or diploma program or a minimum of 1 year professional experience
- National MA Certification via AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT
