Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time MA position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.MaineHealth Cardiology Scarborough Clinical team member, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week position, Rotating schedule 730a-4p/830a-5p based on the needs of the department.MaineHealth, Cardiology – *formerly, Maine Medical Partners, CardiologyPosition Summary – Device Clinic MA/ANA/CTAThe clinician team member is assigned duties and responsibilities related to patient care in a team-based ambulatory practice environment. The clinical team member functions under the license of the provider when performing clinical and other patient care tasks. The clinical team member must demonstrate competency in all skills related to the performance of patient care within their scope of practice and according to organizational policies, accrediting and licensing bodies. This position will be assigned to work directly with the device clinic. They will assist with maintaining organized device follow up for patients with implanted pacemakers, ICDs and loop recorders. This position does not involve direct patient care. Once fully trained, clinical team member can work remotely when approved by Supervisor. If needed, clinical team member may be asked to assist with coverage at MMC with the support of one of our device specialist.Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must meet one of the following requirements: graduated from an accredited vocational institution or community college in Medical Assisting with 160 hours of clinical experience completed; or completion of an Adult Education Medical Assistant program and 6 months of clinical experience in a practice setting; or 1 year of clinical experience in a multi-provider practice setting (equivalent experience will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis).License/Certifications: Current AAMA, NHA, AMT, or NCCT certification preferred or achieved within 1 year of eligibility. Current BLS certification within 3 months of hire required. An NH Med Tech License is required for those positions located in New Hampshire.Experience: Relevant experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/AAdditional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
