Medical Support Secretary/Data Analyst

An exciting opportunity has risen within the haematology secretarial team based at County Hospital. We are looking to appoint a dynamic forward thinking secretary to provide a comprehensive and efficient secretarial service to the Haematology Team.Candidates must have obtained OCR/RSA Stage III typewriting or equivalent and have knowledge of medical terminology/audio typing clinic letters and experience in database systems. We are looking to appoint an experienced secretary so you should have demonstrable experience within a similar role working at at least a support secretary level.Main duties of the jobThe ideal candidate will need to:o Be resilient and able to cope to changing goal posts.o Be confident and capable.o Have excellent communication skills.o Be organised.o Be able to prioritise their own workload effectivelyo Use their own initiative.o Be prepared to work within a busy and challenging (but rewarding) environment.About usUniversity Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is one of the largest and most modern in the country.
