Job Description
The Medicare Channel/Partner Sales Consultant is accountable for end-to end management of channel sales to include Electronic Marketing Organization (EMO), Telesales, Exchange and Retiree Exchange. Responsible for face-to-face selling of a variety of products, services and/or solutions to the end customer via intermediaries such as distributors and re-sellers (i.e. , channels) including: Face-to-face selling to new channel partners/distributors and cross/up/repeat sales to existing channel partners/distributors.
• Maintaining and expanding existing relationships with organizations distributing products, services and/or solutions.
• Developing and delivering product demonstrations, sales bids and presentations to channel partners/distributors and may also train channel partner/distributor sales personnel in product use and sales techniques.
• Managing the relationship with the channel partners/distributors Incumbents matching to this specialization are compensated based on achievement of sales targets. including representing the organization to promote and sell its products and services to individuals or other organizations, and supporting business growth by disseminating information that promotes a favorable view of the organization and its products and services.
• Developing and implementing sales strategies; identifying potential customers; managing existing customer relationships; monitoring customer and competitor activity and industry trends
• Face-to-face and remote sales to new customers and cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers.
• Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services, and/or solutions.
• Developing and delivering sales bids/proposals/presentations and conducting product demonstrations.
Compensation
This is a sales incentive role with a total compensation package that consists of a base salary and sales incentive target component. All sales roles are eligible for an initial draw/guarantee to assist new hires with their on-boarding with the company.
