You’ll support the developing, maintaining and testing of regulated communication materials across all schemes. Managing email campaigns and such from client requests, while keeping appropriate stock levels and communications approved in line with regulation. Driving the best member outcomes, applying learning, behavioural science and insight from tests to enhance and improve.What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing communications and supporting activity across schemes that support the contact and engagement strategies for members, working efficiently, observing brand guidelines within budget and timescale
  • Where relevant, working with agencies and third-party suppliers to deliver materials, and ensure that they are delivering to brief and to budget, to meet commercial and business targets
  • Creating and contributing to the analysis and reporting of the effectiveness of the communications and campaigns to optimise the effectiveness of our activity and improve member experience
  • Utilising Customer/member insight, analytics and data to create effective communications that deliver our key messages and support commercial objectives. Ensuring that we continue to review, feedback to ensure we improve the activities we are undertaking
  • Reviewing the printed stock levels with third parties, managing the correct version control, from getting competitive quotes, through to delivery and usage, while minimising any stock waste
  • Building effective relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, across L&G Retail and Group, ensuring our behaviours are always demonstrated, to use expertise and understand requirements, enabling efficient delivery
  • Working within our appropriate risk and compliance framework and demonstrate the key behaviours of a professional, supportive, and engaging marketing function, making sure communications meet the required regulations

QualificationsWho we’re looking for:

  • Marketing and/or communications education desired but not essential if equivalent experience
  • Numerate with strong analytical skills. Evidence of budgetary management
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong written and verbal skills. Able to produce copy to publication standards
  • IT skills – excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant software packages
  • Experience of designing & delivering consumer facing communications
  • Experience of working with creative agencies and providing appropriate briefing, management, and creative evaluation
  • Experience of working in a marketing function or creative agency
  • Preferably experience of working within a financial services marketing/communications team or equivalent
