Trinity College Cambridge is seeking to recruit a Members Accounts Administrator (Students and Fellows billing) to join the Finance Department.Trinity College, founded in 1546 by Henry VIII, is one of the largest Colleges in the University of Cambridge, with some 720 undergraduates, 380 graduate students, 200 Fellows and around 350 non-academic staff. The beauty and size of Trinity’s courts attract visitors from all over the world, but the College is also a thriving, modern community, which exists to give its members a rewarding, richly resourced, and intellectually inspiring place in which to pursue their education and research.Working closely in a team of two Members Accounts Administrators and the Finance team as a whole you will be involved in all aspects of billings for approximately 1200 students and 200 Fellows, including accommodation, catering and tuition fees. In addition, you will process a high volume of receipts and payments, reconcile bank statements, produce reports and record and analyse approved scholarships, awards and prizes. The role may also include assisting in the maintenance of the wine stock data which involves stock movements and the year-end stock count.Candidates must have experience of working with finance IT systems, ideally with Oracle NetSuite (although system training will be provided), together with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience of working with a wide variety of ‘customers’ is essential, preferably in the higher education sector, and a knowledge of tuition fees would be advantageous. In addition, the role holder must work with a high level of accuracy and have excellent communication skills. Accounting qualifications such as part-AAT qualified would be desirable.Trinity is a competitive employer.
