Its primary focus is ensuring that the right amount of stock is available at the right time to meet customer demand, while minimising overstock and stockouts. Our function bridges the gap between inventory management and sales, playing a key role in optimising product availability and driving profitability.About the Role:
- Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels to optimise stock availability.
- Support with placing and tracking orders with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate stock records and update systems accordingly.
- Assist in analysing sales data and trends to assist in making informed merchandising decisions.
- Compile reports and provide administrative support to the merchandising team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any stock-related issues.
- Assist with ad hoc merchandising projects as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a retail or e-commerce environment.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for consumer goods and an interest in the beauty industry.
