THE OPPORTUNITYWe have the exciting opportunity to join our team as a Merchandising Assistant!In this position you’ll play an integral role within the business, working as part of the Merchandising team and collaborating across various teams as the go-to person for stock management! You’ll be comfortable handling data and spreadsheets and will use your understanding of key stock management metrics to keep our processes running smoothly.You will be creating key business reports, managing stock housekeeping and ensuring that products are enabled or disabled online – all while making sure everything runs efficiently. You’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate with the team to review processes and find ways to improve. This is a part-time position covering 20 hours a week, ideally working in the mornings to ensure the team have all necessary information needed, we are prepared to be flexible for the right candidate.If you have strong Excel skills, a keen understanding of stock management and thrive in a fast-paced e-commerce environment, we want to hear from you!You will be based at our Head Office in Banbury with the freedom to work from home two days a week on average, this may flex up or down dependant on business needs.BEHIND THE BRANDSWe’re a family-run, entrepreneurial company with an exciting pace of life and a bright and friendly team.   • Creating key business reports to support the Merchandising team in completing core tasks.
  • Working with Merchandising team to review how we can be more efficient, improving processes and automation
  • Completing key admin tasks quickly and accurately to drive the best possible customer outcomes
  • Reviewing trading stock pots and take actions to ensure housekeep is of a high standard. This will include negative stock, retail back orders and transfer orders
  • Working with the Merchandising team to manage our house customer accounts, creating and updating the relevant documents and proposing actions.
  • Managing our retail product to ensure that lines are enabled and disabled online
  • Updating performance tracking documentation on a weekly/periodic basis.
  • Any other ad hoc duties as reasonably requested by the Company

THE TALENT YOU’LL BRING

  • Good Microsoft Excel Knowledge, this would include the ability to create and use pivot tables and lookups, in addition to creating & managing readable reports tailored to your audience
  • Awareness of stock management and how product moves through to the end customer
  • Making suggestions for the business to maximise KPI’s
  • Previous experience working in a high paces environment.
  • Previous experience using both a manual and automated allocation system
  • Experience within an e-commerce business is preferred
  • Previous experience of 1 year within a similar role is desirable
