This key role will focus on identifying and capitalizing on opportunities with prospective clients, while significantly expanding our presence and impact within the Microsoft ecosystem. You will be a critical contributor to our go-to-market strategy, collaborating closely with BDO’s sales, delivery, and alliance teams. Leveraging your deep understanding of the Power Platform ecosystem and proven solution-selling skills, you will build trust quickly, uncover value-creating opportunities, and leverage the full breadth of BDO’s technology capabilities to solve our clients’ most pressing challenges.Key Responsibilities:Growth

  • Effectively articulate the value of Microsoft Power Platform to potential clients by demonstrating its impact on business efficiency, automation, and digital transformation, aligning solutions with their strategic goals.
  • Identify, prospect, and engage key contacts within target accounts, collaborating on lead generation.
  • Partner with BDO’s technology, industry, and strategy capabilities to lead and drive sales pursuit activities.
  • Cultivate and manage strong relationships with client/prospect stakeholders and influencers, consistently demonstrating a trusted and value-oriented approach.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with key Microsoft partner stakeholders, ensuring alignment and exploring new collaborative opportunities.
  • Partner closely with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective go-to-market strategies and initiatives.
  • Represent BDO at partner events, conferences, and meetings, promoting the firm’s capabilities and identifying new collaboration opportunities.

Engagements:

  • Participate in the end-to-end sales process, including proposal development, solution architecture, effort estimation, and pre-sales discussions, to align technology solutions with client needs and business objectives.
  • Leverage Microsoft Power Platform to design and implement low-code/no-code solutions, utilizing Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse to streamline business processes, enhance productivity, and drive digital transformation.
  • Oversee delivery teams to ensure projects are successfully completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction, while maintaining alignment with client objectives and best practices.
  • Design, build, and deploy Power Platform and AI-powered Copilot agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, leveraging Power Platform, AI models, and automation to enhance business processes and user experiences.
  • Running client workshops and gathering/documenting requirements for Power Platform solutions, low-code, no-code, robotic process automation, business process automation, workflow automation.
  • Developing strategies and roadmap for clients to begin their Power Platform journey
  • Evangelize Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio and other Microsoft products internally and with clients
  • Acting as a customer escalation contact as required and providing management and guidance related to the resolution of customer satisfaction concerns

Your experience and education

  • Proven ability to establish and nurture relationships, build credibility, and foster trust with individuals at all levels within client organizations and BDO.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new clients, leading pursuit teams, and providing sales leadership.
  • Mandatory deep understanding and experience within the Power Platform ecosystem, including Power Apps (Model and Canvas), Power Automate, Power Pages, Dataverse, Copilot Studio.
  • Microsoft Power Platform certification is an asset
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency and a proactive approach to problem-solving and opportunity pursuit.
  • Experience selling into key industries across Canada is a strong asset.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
  • A collaborative team player who recognizes the importance of individual contributions to overall team success.
