About Us

Bodhi Global Analysis is a UK-based international development research consultancy with a subsidiary in Nairobi. We specialise in high-quality, evidence-based research that informs policies and programmes for intergovernmental organisations, (I)NGOs, and non-profits.

Our research approach integrates a migration and inclusion lens, ensuring that our clients develop strategies that are inclusive, rights-based, and contextually informed. We work on a range of migration-related issues, including:

  • Forced migration and displacement (e.g., with people on the move and on issues of statelessness)
  • Climate-induced migration and mobility
  • Protection issues linked to migration
  • The intersection of migration with gender, disability, and other marginalised identities
  • Migration governance and policy analysis

At Bodhi, we apply participatory research methods, engaging affected communities and local experts to challenge traditional power imbalances in migration research.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Researcher to join our team and lead migration-related research and evaluations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in migration policy and programming, and a commitment to producing rigorous, impactful research.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct research on migration trends, policies, and their socio-economic impact.
  • Lead and contribute to evaluations of migration-related programmes.
  • Examine the intersection of migration with gender, disability, climate change, and economic development.
  • Engage with policymakers, humanitarian actors, and affected communities to produce actionable recommendations.
  • Travel occasionally to fragile and conflict-affected areas to support research activities.

This is a full-time position with a three-month probationary period.

This Role is Ideal for You If You:

  • Are passionate about migration research and want to contribute to evidence-based solutions in international development.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality research and reports.
  • Are proactive, organised, and able to anticipate challenges while proposing solutions.
  • Have experience working on migration policy, displacement, or humanitarian programming.
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
