PAY RATE: $44.86/hr. + shift premiums (Night – $1.20 and Weekend – $2)

Help different departments with Mechanical support in the facility as a Millwright.
Prevent breakdowns and operate with preventative maintenance techniques as a Millwright.
Ensure a safe work environment through effective maintenance of equipment and create safe working conditions when needed.
Troubleshoot any mechanical breakdown in the production process.
Use the SAP system.
Assist in the installation of any new equipment in the facility.
Report any concerns and/or problems to the supervisor through daily written and verbal reporting.
Understand the mechanics of our facilities processing and packaging equipment and be able to maintain it.
Maintain proper hygiene and a clean work environment around yourself.
Provide a shift report to include parts used, downtime, and root cause analyses.
Ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality, and quality.
Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in the SOP manual.
Adhere to GMPs and Health and safety rules as outlined in the employee handbook and food safety practices.
Work collaboratively as a Millwright with other team members.Qualifications
Must hold a valid license – 443A, or proof of license from any province or country required.
Good mechanical aptitude and dexterity – detail-oriented.
High sense of ownership, good organizational skills, effective communicator.
Tenacious with great analytical skills.
Must also be comfortable working in a food (bakery) manufacturing environment and must have industrial experience.Summary
