Mobile Vehicle Technician – Kent

• Basic circa £36,000 + Bonuses
• Monday to Friday: 8am – 5pm (some flexibility required, plus optional Saturdays)
• Company van, fuel card and tablet
• 1.5x overtime rate
• Ability to work independently
• This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company, in a rare mobile role
• Covering the Kent area

Our automotive client services vehicles for Vehicle Fleet, Hire and Leasing companies, primarily light commercial vehicles but they also work on cars too. They are actively looking for a Mobile Technician to cover the Kent area.Their Mobile Technicians work will commence on a customer’s site, this can be in a workshop, warehouses as well as working outside in the elements. To succeed in the role, you will need to be very organised.The duties in this Mobile Vehicle Technician role:
The business runs an app for their customers to book their vehicles in, Technicians then:

• Look after their own bookings – Checking what parts are required for their jobs and looking at where they need to travel to.
• Manage their own diaries and Order Parts – this is done when you’re not driving or working on a vehicle.
• Parts are issued from various suppliers – Technicians order the parts themselves and have them delivered to their home.
• The work is booked in as logistically as possible in order to minimise travel.

To be eligible for this Mobile Vehicle Technician role you will need the following:

• Be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Have previous working experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Previous mobile experience is highly beneficial
• Have a UK driving licence with minimal points
• Able to work as an individual or as part of a team.
• Adaptable in all types of environments
